What is Permanent Cosmetics?

Micro Pigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, is the process where pigments are implanted beneath the epidermis or "top layer" of skin, by micro insertion.

Is there "pain" involved?

Medical grade Topical anesthetics are used to knumb the area and are usually successful in minimizing any discomfort during the procedure.

How long does the procedure take?

Time varies for each individual, but one should allow approximately 1 hour per procedure.

What is involved in recovery?

Slight swelling and redness is very common, but usually subsides quickly.

How many appointments are necessary?

Three to four weeks after the initial application, a follow up visit may be required to perfect the lines of color. These visits do not require as much time nor is ther any additional charges for them.

Does one have a choice of colors?

There are many colors to choose from. I encourage clients to bring in their favorite colors with them so that I can match the colors as close  as possible.

Is it safe?

If the proper sterilization and sanitary guidelines are met by the technician, the procedure is completely safe.

All needles, and any part of the machine that comes in contact with the client, should be pre-packaged, and disposable. Gloves should be worn by the technician during the procedure.
